Human Design Definition

Human Design Definition

Human Design is a holistic self-knowledge and personality model that combines astrology, I Ching, Kabbalah, and Vedic philosophy. The system categorizes personalities into four energy types, which indicate how individuals exchange energy with the world.

The system was originated by ALAN ROBERT KRAROWER in a book in 1992, inspired by a mystical experience in the late '80s. Human Design provides a detailed blueprint of how your energy is designed.

To calculate your Human Design, similar to a birth chart, you need your birthday, birth time, and birth location. By examining your Human Design chart, you can shed your conditioning and develop a mindset that supports your unique blueprint.

Human Design guides you to discover your talents, gifts, and unique qualities. It recognizes that each person has their own energy levels, rest needs, ways of connecting with others, and sources of fulfillment. What works for one person may not work for another. It also helps harness your energy to your advantage.
